Armed Services Salute Honoring our Veterans and Active Military
The Armed Services Salute is and has always been, a celebration of Michigan’s veterans, active military, civilian
community support and the authentic patriotism inspired by that collaboration.
THE ARMED SERVICES SALUTE (TASS) is three events on one day of continuous patriotic Veterans Day observance.
Our events are anchored at the IBEW Local 58 Union Hall located at 1358 Abbott Street.
TASS EVENTS:
Annual Detroit Veteran’s Day Parade. Held in Detroit starting in 2006. Accompanied by the Parade
Motorcycle Brigade
4Star 4Mile race
Vet Fest
Vendors with services or information that assists our Veterans their families, and our active Military may request space to present their information/products.
INSPIRING PATRIOTISM
The MDVC inspires patriotism by providing a platform for America's veterans, active military and citizens to serve together in their communities
